Electronic submission of grades (e-Grading)

    e-Grading Help:

    Why e-Grading?   Who benefits?
Beginning in December of 2004, faculty and instructional staff began submitting grades electronically, through My UW Madison. A joint project of the Office of the Registrar and DoIT, the new e-Grading method replaced the paper grade list process.
    Faculty -
Grades can be entered and submitted from anywhere the instructor has web access. The process is efficient and the instructor is in full control of their own grading.

    Department Administrative Staff -
e-Grading has improved efficiencies campus wide in the collecting and recording of grades. The ability to archive grade rosters electronically is a money and space saver to departments. Grading contacts can monitor grading progress on-line and insure that grades are entered in a timely manner.

    Students -
In addition to saving both time and money, electronic submission of grades provides an enormous improvement in service to students. Students are able to view their grades the day after the instructor submits the electronic grade roster.
